Welcome to the first Sweenolia post. Sweenolia is a lifestyle website about fashion, food, books, mindset, culture, and becoming the woman you want to become. It is my belief that you can become whoever you want to be, and accomplish whatever you set your mind to. I am constantly looking for ways to better my life and the little things that make me enjoy this little life. I also want to highlight the many people, magazines, books, blogs, etc. that I read daily that help to contribute to me building a life that I love.
The content I write about and share, may have really resonated with me, and may not have; it may just be a great piece of writing(which to me is a pleasure in itself). I love just reading great writing, or listening to a differing viewpoint than I have. Learning about all angles of something helps you understand the world more, yourself, and others.
The world currently has an abundance of information and content that continues to grow everyday. Consuming all forms of content is something I love doing and sharing. I also love to reflect on what I have read, share it with my husband, and also write about it. Not all content is worthy of writing about or even sharing. But a lot of it is. That brings me to part of the purpose of this blog…to write and share my angle on what I have consumed and that I consider worth writing about and worth your time.
There is a lot of noise in this world, and learning to make sense of it all, and find the things that really matter, is the goal I think we all have. We all have an abundance of worry, stress, and noise, so let’s silence some of that, and seek out the good and the smart stuff. Sweenolia is going to try to do just that with daily editorial blog posts that may be bite-sized in length, and some may be blog posts you will settle in for. Either way, I hope you enjoy what I write for you everyday and you come back again and again to read and ponder. This blog is the art of the edit, and selecting what is worth your time.
