If you know me personally, you would know I absolutely love clothes, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. My wardrobe is rather large, so my husband built me a dressing room a few years ago for Christmas, that is like one huge walk-in closet. He was shocked when I got everything in there that I had so much. He said, we should have made it even bigger. Yes, so I probably have too many, but it’s my favorite thing besides books. (If you are interested, I can do a blog post in the future showcasing my dressing room).

Clothes are something I love and keep for a while. I wear them over and over in many different ways, and style them differently to create new outfits. One of my struggles is getting rid of clothes, because I still think I can wear them and create new outfits with them. I am an avid outfit repeater for sure.

My definition of an avid outfit repeater is someone who wears outfits or pieces of outfits over and over again, in the same or different ways. You can wear the exact same outfit over and over or change it up by changing a sport coat, adding a different purse, changing the shoes or accessories. You get the idea.

Even though I have a lot of clothes, I still like to wear things over and over again, usually mixing and matching for unlimited outfits. It is so fun every morning, picking out what to wear and putting together an outfit, and then adding accessories. You will probably see me in similar outfits, and repeat tops, or pants. I’m not ashamed of that. Actually very proud. Very seldom do I buy something for just one certain occasion.

When you wear things over and over again, in different ways, and with different things, you are getting your money’s worth out of items. Rarely do I ever buy something to wear just one time. I like to buy items that I will wear over and over again. Items that will be in my closet for longer than a few wears.

Being creative with styling outfits is one of my favorite things to do. Putting together an outfit by shopping my closet, and mixing and matching pieces and discovering new ways to style a previous outfit. I love styling.

Another favorite little hobby of mine, is looking at different outfits on social media and then seeing if I have similar items to put a similar outfit together. Are you an avid outfit repeater? What is your favorite thing you wear over and over again?
