Day 2 of the of Consistency Challenge
At 6:00am, I got up and got dressed for my walk on the treadmill. I walked about 15 minutes, but some is better than none. While I walked I watched a You Tube video I have been wanting to watch. (It is a video by Amy Smilovic, the founder and owner of Tibi. Tibi is a fashion brand but Amy talks about it being a lifestyle. I am loving her videos). Ok, back to the recap…
For the water, I am still drinking on it tonight. I think when I go grocery shopping tomorrow, I am going to get some fresh lemons, limes, and oranges for my water bottle. Flavored water with fresh citrus is by far my favorite way to drink water. I also read somewhere that lemon water is detoxifying.
My calories today were better than yesterday with 486 left over. Not eating junk, and eating protein and good for you food, is making me feel more nourished. When I would binge sweets, I would find myself craving more and more. As if the sweets were addictive in a sense. Maybe they are. I need to research that. But I am feeling so much better every day.
Last night I made tuna steaks and they were actually great! I am not a tuna (can) fan at all. I used to only eat fried catfish (yep, so bad for you). But a few weeks ago we bought salmon and tuna steaks(frozen). We smoked the salmon and I grilled the tuna steaks. Oh. My. Goodness. Yep, all the goodness! They were delicious! The tuna didn’t even taste like tuna at all. But I will say, fish (good fish) is expensive but we are telling ourselves it is worth it. I keep thinking about the fact that eating healthy will save you in medical bills.
Getting ready to do my MWH workout in a few minutes, even if for only a few minutes. That is what I love about her workouts. You can do them anywhere, and they don’t take a lot of time but are still effective.
