Friday Night Reading No.4
What a week this week has been. I am so glad it is Friday and the weekend is here. While my weekend is full of work(work from my day job), cleaning, and laundry, I am thankful it’s here. I usually don’t mind if I have to work from home on the weekends, because I can do it at my own pace, in front of the tv watching my favorite shows, with coffee and matcha, on the couch. It makes working a little more enjoyable. Sometimes, when tasks seem daunting or annoying, try to figure out a way to make them enjoyable, by adding comfort things to the task. Like coffee, a good Hallmark movie, some good music, a podcast, your favorite soda, or treating yourself with a treat once the task(s) is complete. I am all about comfort and trying to make boring or daunting tasks, a little more bearable.
Here is some Friday Night Reading for you, on this cool Fall evening. I hope you enjoy!
Meghan’s posts are always so enjoyable to read. I especially like the ones about her work or blogging.
Kit Keenan now has a website to house all her fabulous simple recipes. This salmon recipe is one of my favorite recipes she has and is super simple to make.
If you love Meghan Stokes’ blog you will love her new Substack. Read her first letter here.
Carly’s style is still the same as when she was Carly the Prepster. Check out her weekly outfit blog post.
Currently I am reading the new Ina Garten memoir, and you should too! It. Is. So. Good.
Grace wrote a really good Substack about what is too much sharing.
