How To Get Back In The Swing Of Things After Having A Broken Leg
Yes, you read that right. I broke my leg back in April and have fully recovered. Finally! It felt like all that time I that I couldn’t walk would never end. But I’m on the other side of it now, and ready to get back to blogging and doing everything I love.
So not to bore you with all the broke leg details, I want to kind of just give like a life update and what is to come.
OOTD photos are slowly making a comeback as I try to get out of my bad habit of not dressing the greatest while on crutches. I tried a million ways to make a cast look good, then a boot, and well, yeah, there is really no way to make a cast or a boot look good. So I’m gonna push myself to get back into the daily #ootd stories posts.
I’ve decided to go about this blog a little differently. Everyone and their brother is doing the same thing on their blogs, and I get it. It’s what pays the bills. But with mine, I am not making any money yet, and I don’t want to be a walking advertisement. While I do love fashion and beauty, I also love trying to be more eco and frugal, I love to cook, meal prep, and read, but I also love to write. So I want this blog to be more of a mix of all things lifestyle, and then some more free-writing essay style stream of consciousness. While I would love to work with brands, and I hope I do someday, I also want to offer just raw, free, and worthy content that you can benefit from. So, really, this is a passion project that I am doing outside of my day job.
