I first eyed a clover necklace on an influencer a few years ago. Her necklace was Van Cleef & Arpels and the cost was in the thousands. Since then, I have seen clover jewelry on other influencers like Julia Broome and Lauryn Bosstick. From the first time I saw the jewelry on Kit, I loved the daintiness of the clover, and how simple it looked. Needless to say, I have wanted some clover jewelry for over a few years now, but I couldn’t afford the exact one the said influencer had.
A few months ago, I was in our local mall, and saw the Claire’s was going out of business. My first thought, maybe they will have some clover jewelry. The green clover was what I was really wanting. I entered the store and to my sheer delight, I found some clover jewelry at a great price…less than $20 and they had buy so many pieces of jewelry and get x amount off. So I bought 3 pieces of clover jewelry. A red clover necklace, a green clover bracelet, and burgundy clover earrings. I was so excited with my purchases. I am still loving these pieces, and at such great price points.

If you have followed me for a while, you know I don’t really jump on trends. I don’t know if this clover jewelry is trend or not, but when I see something, whether trend or not, that I absolutely love, I’m sold on it. I was seeing clover jewelry everywhere, and on everyone(ok, not literally). Here is some clover jewelry I found on Amazon, since Claires has paused their online shopping. This clover jewelry is all the rage right now, and I am really here for it. But only in an affordable way for now.
My newfound clover jewelry is really so versatile. It goes with everything. The only bad thing is that since I only have red and green clover jewelry, I can’t wear them together because it would look like Christmas. LOL. But at Christmastime, I will probably wear them together.

But I am really a minimal jewelry wearer, in that, I don’t load up on wearing loads and loads of jewelry together. I go for the more minimal look, so that one piece of jewelry takes the spotlight for that outfit. For example, this clover necklace…I don’t want when someone sees my outfit and jewelry I’m wearing to scan all over not knowing what to look at because I have too many statement pieces on. Rather I would like someone to see my outfit, and notice 1 piece of jewelry that stands out as a subtle accent to the outfit. This clover jewelry is subtle statements. Wear them subtly, so the clover piece is the highlight and just the addition the outfit needed.
Clover jewelry may be a slight trend right now, but it is jewelry that I believe is timeless and you can wear and keep forever. I hope to get some day, the Van Cleef & Arpels green necklace, but until then, a cheaper version is next best. But here, here, and here are a few more cheaper pieces of the Arpels version, that I am eyeing right now.
