Habit trackers are kind of a new trend nowadays, for some. To be fully transparent (and not at all seeming like an expert) I have tried using habit trackers over the years, only quitting a few weeks after I had started. I am attempting to try the habit tracker again. Let me briefly explain what a habit tracker is. A habit tracker is meant to track all the habits you want to develop or continue. If you are like me, you love seeing the boxes checked that you did that habit that day. So not only is it super satisfying it is actually a great way to build habits consistently, which is what I am always striving to do.
Currently I use the Lavendaire Habit Tracker which is in her Artist of Life Workbook. This tracker is simple and easy to use. You have 10 lines to use for 10 different habits you want to track, that have 31 days of check mark boxes. So this tracker is a monthly tracker, which I highly recommend. There are some habit trackers that are a part of a daily planner if you prefer it to be on every daily planner page, like this one here.
I like to track everything from drinking water to writing to yoga. You can literally track anything you want to track. These are just a few of the things I put in my habit tracker currently. I am going to add eating healthy and less sugar to my tracker today so I can try to lose weight and get in shape.
Some more ideas for what to track in your habit tracker are: skincare, exercise, 10k steps, read, journal, and meditate. Really it is whatever you want to track. What are some things you want to track? Share your ideas in the comments below. I love learning new ideas for what you can track.
I know this tracker may seem like a waste of time, but keeping track of what you are trying to make into habits, is very vital and helps your mind to stay more focused, so as not to let you veer off course. You should definately try it. It may work for you and it may not, but I am loving tracking things.
