Day 6 of the Consistency Challenge

Every day is getting a little easier. Today is Saturday and so I got up and had coffee first. No real particular reason, I just wanted to move a little slower today compared to the rest of this week’s mornings.

After my coffee, I started drinking the water and getting my clothes changed for my treadmill walk. Fifteen minutes of brisk walking on the treadmill and I felt so much better. The Goal Digger Podcast was my choice of listen while walking today.

Then on to drinking more water and then I made my Orange Dream Smoothie. It’s the yummiest. Only 4 ingredients: 1 date, 1 cup of frozen mango, 1 scoop of protein powder, and orange juice. Every day now for 2 or maybe 3 weeks, my go-to breakfast has been a smoothie. Some days it is a green smoothie, other days a purple smoothie, and this morning the orange smoothie.

This afternoon I did a Melissa Wood Health workout. It felt good to do a low intensity workout that doesn’t break a sweat. (Sometimes her workouts do, but today, I took it slow).

I am getting close to finishing my water today. I think I’m gonna make it!!

For lunch, I had raspberry oatmeal. Here’s what I made it with: 1/2 cup oatmeal, water, 1 tsp coconut sugar, fresh raspberries. It was really good. No butter, no regular sugar, and I loved it! It wasn’t very sweet, but it was good, and I felt better about eating it knowing I didn’t load it with sugar or butter.

Well, I am so proud of myself. I hope you too decide to do something like this for yourself. Whatever it may be. But it is a great confidence booster and makes you really start believing in yourself. Have a great day!!
